TK KDA

TK KDA - Bodyguard of the TKYOs! Received this awhile back, but didn't have the time to share my thoughts on it. It's one of the more recent TKs that are available to everyone and is styled like to OGs - single sword, no jacket, OG headsculpt.

Box is a bit wider compared to the usual 1/6 boxes. The extra width is to include the T-shirt. Haven't tried it on though, so not much idea how it sizes. T-shirt design is a 1:1 version of the lasstranaut tee the KDA sports.

Some boxart photos. Love the artwork on this one.

The ever explicit spread of Lasstranaut - on box and on tee.

Bambapoints again!

KDA comes with just one sword and some pouches.

KDA is a sturdy chap. Much like its other brethren, it poses well. The new kicks generally allow a lot of movement, although there are some extreme angles where the ankle will start to pinch onto the shoe and leave some marks if you hold the pose too long.

While the laced shoes was one of the things that got me excited, I was quite disappointed to find the laces significantly thicker and clumsier looking than the thin, sleek ones in the original prototype photos.

Also, although the weathered look is nice and I generally prefer it to the clean TKYO look, the black marks on the Lasstranaut print is a little to artificial. For some reason, someone decided to draw a slash right across her face and it looks odd sitting there.

That said, I do love the simple design and the subtle touches like the plaster on the left cheek and right forearm, as well as a tattoo on the right bicep (missed out the photos of these).

Decked the KDA in a tracksuit from Tracky Bleak while I was waiting for TKYO to arrive. Maybe some group shots next.
