*Warning. Image heavy post.*
As promised, more photos of the unboxing! The box itself is quite large, although it's flatter than the usual 3A boxes. Without any scale reference, it does look very similar to the AP TKYO box size. Box art is a departure from the usual art based design, going for a graphic design look instead.
Bamba points!
Your dictionary or mine?
For those who are wondering about the booklet or 'tour guide' as Ashley Wood calls it, nothing really special to me. All graphic design which I can't really appreciate.
A few more poses. Nothing much to say about the figures in general. The tracksuit is unweathered, but doesn't seem much different from the other 1/6 tracksuits we've seen besides colour. Mine has some minor issues - it seems like No.2's tracksuit has a longer zip than the rest, causing the tracksuit to bunch up at the chest when fully zipped, unlike the rest. Underneath is a singlet that is a little short. Rides up the body to show some tummy fat.
Shoes are new like the KDA, which I will review again later. But basically it's laced and the foot is easily removed. Laces are a bit too thick and the shoe kinda too bulky for my liking though.
The joints seem a little looser than usual, especially at the ankle joints. They generally can't hold as extreme a pose as their older brethren. Tried to do some single leg standing poses but the joints just wouldn't hold. I suspect this is partially due to the lack of weathering as well, since the weathering paints do fill up the joint spaces and probably tighten them somewhat.
Now that the fever is over and these are in hand, I kinda regret getting so many of them. Hahaha.
