RVHK Yesterday Princess

*Warning! Image heavy post*

While waiting for Queeny to come back from repairs, I started looking around at other TQs. While generally simple in design, a few TQs did catch my eye, in particular Yubi wo Tekika from the TQ 3 pack.

Unfortunately, Yubi isn't exactly cheap or easy to find, and the catsuit material was something a few collectors warned me as potentially a problem in our hot and humid Singapore weather - it was likely to flake and come off after several months.

Another cool one is the NTQ Munich, scheduled to be release as an exclusive during the ACG at Guangzhou this end Dec.

As much as I'd like to be there, it doesn't seem financially and logistically possible for me at this point, so I'll just have to hope it comes out on Bambaland or that the 2nd hand market isn't too ridiculously expensive.

That's when I chanced upon the RVHK Yesterday Princesses. The black hair one spotted the same Yubi headsculpt with a ponytail that I liked, and had a short skirt with an unzippable top. Purrfect. My thought was to get a Shit Mood Lady Sham and use her catsuit instead, since it was made of a different material that seemed more likely to last in our weather. That way, I'd get something close to Yubi!

Unfortunately, the black Lady Sham costs more than double the basic pure Lady Sham, so I settled for pure Sham's white catsuit instead. :( Sham's not here yet, so this post will be on Yesterday Princess as she is, right out of the box.

Unboxing her out of her shipper.

Here's the princess in her full glory. Comes with plastic wrappers to protect her head and hand.

Right out of the box, the right leg seems slightly longer than the left, as can be seen by the different positions of the knee joint. Not sure if it's an actual defect or just the adjustment of the body, but after tilting and adjusting things a bit, it's hardly noticeable.

She also comes with two sheathed katanas, but no wakizashis unlike Yubi. While I love the colours on the sheath, there's a little paint chip already and the paint at the seamlines are not properly done. Again, I'm nitpicking on a mass produced toy, but oh well.

My flash battery died about now, so I went to the window and played a little with Princess using natural light.

Standing pose.

Reaching for the swords.

Drawing a lone sword.

Ready stance.

Sword and tanto combo!

Sweet innocent look.

Took a break and went to get some batteries, so here's more photos and a quick run-down of Princess.

Princess chillaxing while I get the batteries.

With the lower limbs of the Princess exposed, the double jointed knee is quite obvious, giving it pretty good articulation. The body should be quite similar to Queeny, although the ankle joints seem to be somewhat sturdier. Being new to 3A and all, I'm not so familiar with all the different TQ bodies, but this is definitely updated from the Yubi body that I've seen on some other blogs.

Princess wears a long-sleeved zipped top made of some sort of stretchy synthetic material, covering a short skirt of the same material. Being all white with no weathering, it'll probably be only a matter of time before I 'weather' it black with my dirty hands. Looking at the material, it also seems like the paint might eventually flake as it seems to form a coat over the material, but that remains to be seen.

Working to unzip the top, it was stuck initially and required some careful manipulation to unzip the collar. The top cannot be fully unzipped however, due to the thread at the bottom that joins both sides of the top.

While somewhat elastic, there's a limit to the stretch and it will form fold lines over time. The back and the arm sleeves already have a number of fold lines from all the posing. The sleeves are slightly longer than the arm and extend all the way into the glove, causing the extra material to bunch up slightly and cause more crease marks. The nipples had also imprinted their shape into the top as well, the point still clearly visible even when unzipped.

There are also two loops behind the top to hold the katanas, but I'm not too keen to stretch the material and didn't insert the sheathes in. The katanas can be slid in without a sheath to hold it there loosely though.

Underneath her skirt, Princess has some decency to wear cotton panties, even though they barely fit over her full behind. The panties did form some obvious VPL (visible panty line) on the back due to the thicker band at the top of the panties, but I managed to smooth it to a minimum after readjusting several times.

Not a safe sight for the underaged.

Thick panty lines - the nightmare of every self-conscious female!

While stripping her panties to readjust them, I noticed that the rubber buttcheeks indeed do not stick to the main body, so Queeny's body wasn't that defective except for the slight expansion of the rubber. At least now I have another female body for comparison.

Finally, Princess wears a pair of knee high socks and white platform heels. The socks should be removable, but I'm not about to attempt sliding the platforms off her foot. You can see the shape of her toes underneath the socks, a nice detail nonetheless. Now all I need is a Yumiko skirt to give her a schoolgirl look.

The Princess has almost zero weathering except for her gloves, making this an easy toy to play with. There's no wet paint and I'm not afraid of accidentally scraping off some weathering or paint like Queeny. Much less stressful. I'm actually quite happy with her and this is definitely a great addition to my collection.

I was looking at your hands! Your hands!

Princess giggless coyly and covers up.

Or does she?

'Should I reveal a little more?'

'Fat dreams, loverboy!'
